My wife, Shari, and I have lived in Hayward since 1980. We owned and operated funeral homes in Hayward and Spooner until 1997 when we had the opportunity to make a change in lifestyle. Woodland Developments & Realty was started in 1999 in our home on Grindstone Lake. In 2003, the need for an office in town prompted the development of the Woodland Court office complex on Railroad Street. Our personal service to families through the funeral homes and my community involvement laid the groundwork that has carried over into my current real estate career. I am blessed to have wonderful clients who I truly consider friends. My experiences as an owner of several different businesses, work in corporate development and acquisitions as well as real estate development and sales gives me added knowledge and expertise in business and commercial real estate. My name is Jim Dahlby and here's a bit of background on me. Originally from the Hudson, Wisconsin area, I moved to Hayward in 2000. Having vacationed in Hayward for many years, I thought that one day I would want to live here. After a couple years of hesitation, I made the move. Selling real estate full time in Hudson since 1984, I thought it would be a smooth transition. However, the two markets are completely different and I had to make some adjustments, you could say. Barb Lundberg

Barb has been in Real Estate since 2001 when she decided to pursue a new challenge and left a long, satisfying career with a major grocery retailer. Her real estate journey began in Marshall, MN where as a MN licensed associate she primarily worked with Schwans Food Service corporate relocation clients and as the office manager for a local, trusted company. In 2004, she moved to Minneapolis, MN where she continued in the real estate industry as an Executive Administrative Assistant for a leading Twin Cities sales agent. Her marriage in 2006 brought her to Hayward and to Woodland Developments & Realty where she continues in an Administrative role. Gary's daughter, Nicole, graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2008 with Health Promotion and Physical Education degrees and now works 3 quarter time for Woodland, Hansen Family Chiropractic and Snap Fitness. She recently purchased her first home located next to the Birkie trail and plans to stay in the Hayward area to start her own family. You might see her helping at the front desk or answering phones.

Amber Albrecht

Hello, my name is Amber Albrecht. While growing up in the Hayward area I fell in love with the beauty of the Northwoods. After graduating high school I moved to the Twin Cities and started taking classes at Northwestern College, but soon realized that back home and close to family was the place for me. I married Matt Albrecht, a local teacher, in the fall of 2006. Our family grew in October of 2010 when we had our first child, a son that we named Tyler Matthew. As the Office Manager here at Woodland, I am part of a team that aims to provide you with excellent customer service. I work with our agents to make sure that all properties are marketed effectively, using both local and online resources.
